At least, to me it is. I'm currently active duty right now and I'm transitioning to civilian side. I didn't hit the deadline to apply for ObamaCare so I'm pretty screwed on that. I used to be on MedicAid when I was in high school along with my parents. I've done some research and found that I can still be on MedicaAid with my parents until I turn 26, currently 22, is this right? If not, what are my options? Somebody shed some light, please. I'm very lost on this subject. I don't want to be caught injured and having to pay an arm and a leg for my own health coverage. Also, please don't give me the, Just stay in the military! speech. I will soon finish my initial contract and I've determined that I don't want to live my life this way. I am purchasing a peice of property and a modular home that is not new, it is maybe 10 years old. My boyfriend got into an accident 2 weeks ago. Basically it was a 5-car pileup. The two cars in front of my boyfriend left the scene because they had no damage. My grandmother passed a few months ago, (i was not close to her, long story) I just found out from my aunt that my grandmother had a life insurance policy on me and my sister. I was born in 1980, I'm assuming that's probably when she started paying on the policy. She paid $1.20 a month and my aunt wants to know if I want to continue paying it. What happens if I don't? Can I cash it in? I do not have the policy in front of me but my sister has hers and it says purchased in 1986. the monthly payment was $2.40 for her. And it says something about a cash value on the back. from what I gather it is a whole life/ universal life policy from liberty life insurance out of south carolina. does anyone know if there is a way to calculate the cash value, estimate. I guess I might have to wait until Tuesday to call them to see if it is worth still paying on. (I do have other life insurance on myself)

The collision cause minor damage to the Ram1500 rear bumper, but because I tried turning to dodge it, it broke it my headlight, scrunched my hood, and the driver door doesn't open well. Basically, the car was mine. Title under my dad's name until 4 months ago. Now under mine. The car is insured by my dad. I was not on the insurance. Since the car has been towed to the shop, the insurance company has opened an investigation to straighten things out. They are wondering if it is under my name, and my dad's insurance, why I was driving it and not on the plan. My brother thinks they are trying not to pay for the damage, I'm just hoping they will. I ETS from the military honorably on July 5th this year but I start terminal leave on May 2nd. With this new ObamaCare affordable health care act in place, everything is all kinds of messed up. At least, to me it is. I'm currently active duty right now and I'm transitioning to civilian side. I didn't hit the deadline to apply for ObamaCare so I'm pretty screwed on that. I used to be on MedicAid when I was in high school along with my parents. I've done some research and found that I can still be on MedicaAid with my parents until I turn 26, currently 22, is this right? If not, what are my options? Somebody shed some light, please. I'm very lost on this subject. I don't want to be caught injured and having to pay an arm and a leg for my own health coverage. Also, please don't give me the, Just stay in the military! speech. I will soon finish my initial contract and I've determined that I don't want to live my life this way.
